The Maryland-Greater DC Chapter works to help asthma and allergy sufferers successfully manage and control their disease through support mechanism such as education, advocacy, referrals and research. Major activities include: an accredited childcare provider course; asthma-friendly child care workshops; information provided to patients of all ages and their families; school-based programs for parents and teachers; and, education
for health care professionals.
